Our legacy wall was designed and built to give people the opportunity to memorialize loved ones who are buried in other cities.  By having the name of a person inscribed on this wall, they will be memorialized in our cemetery giving you a place to visit, even if it is not their actual place of burial.

Whether the person being memorialized lived in Vancouver and should have a presence here, or whether they only have family here who want a place to come to remember them, this wall is a way to give your loved a place, here in Vancouver.

The cost for an inscription is $540, and is considered a charitable donation for which a tax receipt is provided.

The conditions for inclusion on this wall are:

• The person must be Jewish
• The person must be buried in a Jewish cemetery in a city outside Metro Vancouver

Some Jewish cemeteries permit the interment of cremated remains.  If the person was cremated, even if their remains were interred in a Jewish cemetery that permits such a practice, they woul be ineligible for inclusion on this wall.  (If this is the case, please contact us as there are some conditions or situations where the cremation was either required by law, or done without the consent or against the wishes of the deceased.  Each case can be reviewed independently.)

Name of the Person
Year of Birth – Year of Death • City where they are buried
